06.19.23 - Morning Meditation
Hello and good morning, friends.
Thanks again for your patience with me over the last few weeks. Slowly... slowly... we're here again. And we have a new meditation too.
In recording this, it felt like a lot of random things were happening around me. Someone started mowing their lawn, our neighbor decided to stomp around in their apartment, etc. At a certain point, I felt like "okay, what else?" Eventually all those things passed, but I had the choice of feeling tension around them or just letting things be as they are, knowing they'd shift again. Of course they shifted and so did my feelings about them.
All of that to say: there is no perfect moment for meditation (or for anything really) and there is no perfect guide. There will always be something. But what can shift inside us knowing that things can be fine just as they are? Let's experiment with it today.
