08.02.24 - Morning Meditation - Friday Exhale
Hello and good morning!
If Friday is the end of your week, welcome. You've made it here. If it isn't, you know what? You've still made it here: a new day, a new breath.
We're spending some time talking about the exhale today. I have been thinking a lot about this because I have been in a holding pattern of sorts and I just can't wait for that relief when it's done, the sense of the exhale.
While I'm in this pattern, though, I think about how to find that sensation in other ways. How can I be in this moment with what's happening, this feeling almost like holding the breath, and how can I find the exhale? It goes back a bit to our theme of equanimity. How can I find the okay in what's happening now, even if it isn't what I want it to be?
